Anthony Adams Arrested on Felony Warrants

UPDATE 01/16/2024:

On 01/13/2024, officers attempted to locate 37-year-old Anthony Adams regarding a felony warrant for Vehicle Theft 1 and Vehicle Theft 2. Officers received information that Adams, who was also on probation, was in the area of W. Northern Lights Boulevard. Officers spotted Adams travelling southbound on the highway at a high rate of speed. As officers pursued, Adams proceeded to recklessly elude officers and failed to obey traffic signals and speed limits. Through an additional tip, officers subsequently located the vehicle Adams had been travelling in, now unoccupied, near the 7000 block of Foxridge Circle. Officers used the K9 Unit to track Adams and were initially unsuccessful, however, later located Adams hiding in a stairwell. On 01/14/2024, Adams was taken into custody without further incident. Adams was remanded to Anchorage Correctional Complex on his previous Vehicle Theft warrants and an additional charge of Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Police Officer 1. Adams was remanded with no bail.
