Anthony See and Thomas Greenberg arrested in Robbery Investigation

At 3:04 AM on February 4, 2022, Anchorage Police responded to a residence on the 4300-block of Piper Street regarding a disturbance wherein a gun was fired.  Upon arrival officers contacted an adult male and adult female who were inside the apartment; it was determined the suspect had fled the scene.  Officers saw a bullet hole in an interior wall; there were no injuries.  The occupants of the apartment provided a physical description of the shooter to police.

Police determined the suspect had gone to a residence on the 3200-block of E Tudor Road. When officers knocked on the door of the home, it was answered by a male matching the physical description of the shooting suspect.  41-year-old Anthony T. See was detained while officers investigated further.  A second male was found inside the home and identified as 54-year-old Thomas W. Greenberg.  A computer check revealed that Greenberg had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest.

Both Thomas Greenberg and Anthony See were transported to the Anchorage Police Department for questioning by detectives.  While See was inside the interview room by himself, he physically acted out causing damage to a table and a wall.

Through the investigation it was determined that Greenberg and See went to the victim’s home.  See knocked on the door, and when the adult male victim answered, a verbal exchange took place during which See demanded items belonging to the victim.  See fired a handgun towards the victim and then both Greenberg and See fled the area without obtaining any of the victim’s property.  At this time there is no indication the suspects and victims knew one another.

At the conclusion of the interviews, Anthony See was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on the charges of Robbery I, Criminal Mischief V (for the damage to the APD interview room), Assault III, and Misconduct Involving a Weapon III – Felon in Possession.  Thomas Greenberg was remanded on his outstanding warrant.  He was additionally charged with Robbery I and Assault III.
