On December 8, 2023, at 11:27AM Anchorage Police officers responded to O’Malley Elementary School in reference to a bomb threat that was made telephonically. Officers have investigated and found no evidence of a bomb in the school and believe this threat to be unfounded. APD investigates all threats thoroughly and works alongside the Anchorage School District to quickly resolve these disruptions to the school. Officers are currently investigating the source of the call.
