It has been determined the death is not suspicious in nature. Cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.

Original May 15, 2023

On May 15, 2023 at 11:30PM, Anchorage Police Department swing shift officers assigned to Patrol responded to the 600-block of W 75th Avenue in reference to an adult male deceased inside of a residence.

Circumstances around the death are still under investigation. The Crime Scene Team has responded to process the scene. Ultimately the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

 The victim’s name will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

 There are no road closures at this time.

 Anyone with information regarding this incident, to include surveillance footage of the area, is asked to contact Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or (907)786-8900 (option #0). Police are currently following up on leads and there is no suspect information to release at this time. The motive, and any relationship between the parties involved, is under investigation.
