Update on 7/6/23:

Although the investigation remains open, initial indications are that this death is not criminal in nature.

Original on 7/3/23:

At 2:23 PM on July 3, 2023, Anchorage Police responded to a residence on the 8800-block of Cross Pointe Loop regarding an adult female who did not appear to be breathing; police located a deceased person inside the home.  Officers made observations that have prompted them to take a closer look at the circumstances surrounding the death. 

The Crime Scene Team will be responding to process the scene.  Ultimately the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
