Five people arrested during Eagle River warrant service

At 12:24 PM on April 6, 2022, a day shift patrol officer saw 25-year-old Tyler J. Abbott outside an Eagle River residence on the 17900-block of Lacey Drive.  The officer knew Abbott had outstanding felony warrants.  The officer told Abbott to stop; Abbott did not comply and went inside the home.  Officers spoke with several other people outside the home all of whom refused to cooperate.  Eventually those people went inside the house; officers secured the perimeter and obtained a search warrant.

Investigative Support Unit Officers (ISU) and two K9 teams responded to assist. After the warrant was in hand, multiple announcements were made but no one inside complied.  Officers made entry and initially arrested three people hiding inside the home.  While officers were clearing the house, they located a crawl space hatch in which several other items had been placed on top of it in an attempt to conceal the opening. Officers opened the hatch and K9 O.B. was sent in to search.  O.B. alerted his handler that he had located someone.

Once O.B. gave the alert, Tyler Abbott verbally surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.  Also found hiding in the crawl space was 43-year-old Jodi A. Delpriore

30-year-old Nathaniel S. Lucas was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on the charge of Hindering Prosecution I – Conceal Offender.

37-year-old Lindsay A. E. Spoerhase was remanded at Hiland Correctional on the charge of Hindering Prosecution I – Apprehension.

Jodi Delpriore was remanded at Hiland Correctional on her felony Parole Violation warrant.

39-year-old Jeremy M. Schenck was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on the charge of Hindering Prosecution I – Apprehension.

Tyler Abbott was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on his two felony warrants.  He was additionally charged with Resisting.
