Homicide; 3200-block Penland Parkway
Update on 5/4/15:
Anchorage police have arrested and charged the man believed to have fatally stabbed a male and critically injured a female at a residence in East Anchorage on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Alvin Rodriguez-Moya, 40, was charged with Murder 1, Murder 2, Attempted Murder 1, Assault 1 and Burglary 1; he was remanded to the Anchorage Jail.
On Sunday, May 3, 2015, just after 3:30 a.m. Anchorage police responded to a trailer residence on the 3200 block of Penland Parkway to a report of a stabbing. Police located a deceased male inside the home, later identified as 33-year-old Paolo Grassi, with multiple stab wounds. His next of kin have been notified. A 56-year-old female with multiple stab wounds was also located inside the residence and was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. She is now in stable condition.
Further investigation of the event determined that Rodriguez-Moya had broken into the residence and got into a physical altercation with Grassi, leading to the stabbing. The female, who had previously been in a relationship with Rodriguez-Moya, was also stabbed by Moya during the incident. Moya then fled the scene. He contacted police after 9:00 p.m. to turn himself in; a citizen had also called police to report seeing Moya walking in the East Anchorage area around the same time.

Police have located and contacted Alvin Rodriguez-Moya and no longer needs the public's help in locating him. We appreciate the assistance of the public in this matter.
Police continue to investigate what appears to be a homicide at a trailer residence in East Anchorage early this morning. An adult male was located deceased inside the home and a female was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. The female remains hospitalized this evening. The identity of the deceased male will be released when next of kin has been notified.
No suspect(s) have been charged in this case and the investigation is ongoing. Additional details will be released as the investigation progresses.

Anchorage police are investigating the death of a male at an east Anchorage residence as a homicide. Police were contacted just after 3:30 a.m. to respond to the home located on the 3200 block of Penland Parkway. An adult male was found deceased in the home and an adult female was found with life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Police are withholding information specific to the nature of the injuries and the incident until the investigation progresses. No suspect has been taken into custody at this time.
Police are searching for a person of interest in this case, 40-year-old Alvin Rodriguez-Moya. Moya is asked to contact police immediately. Anyone with information on Moya's whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately; Moya is considered armed and dangerous - the public should not intervene but contact police if they see him. Moya is a Hispanic male, approximately 5'11" and 200lbs.
Note: A "person of interest" is some who is believed to have information related to the investigation.
