The 3700-block of McCain Loop is open.

ORIGINAL:

On Oct. 20, 2024, at 1:40 PM, APD Officers responded to reports of an unconscious Black male on the 3700-block of McCain Loop. They found a 36-year-old male unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Medics declared him deceased at the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.

The 3700 block of McCain Loop is closed as the Crime Scene Team processes the area. Please avoid the area.
