This month, we celebrate our fellow Alaskans of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage. The month of May is a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions, vibrant cultures, and rich heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Anchorage is home to some of the most culturally diverse communities in America. By celebrating the cultures around us, we learn, share, and grow from each other. Cultural diversity adds vibrancy to our community, and together we make Anchorage the best place to live and work.
