Shooting Investigation on the 600-block of N Bunn St

At 5:49 PM on September 18, 2023, Anchorage Police responded to the 600-block of N Bunn St regarding a shooting.  Initial indications are that a group of approximately ten juveniles were standing outside an apartment complex when one of them threw a rock through a closed apartment window.  The rock shattered the window and landed inside the apartment bedroom, on the bed, where an adult female was lying down.  A resident of the target apartment (different from the one who had been in the bed) emerged with a handgun, fired at least once into the air as the group of kids was fleeing on foot, and then went back inside.

As officers arrived and set up a perimeter around the apartment building, the suspect exited from inside and surrendered to police without incident.  23-year-old Parker “Kenzie” J. T. Wolfe was charged with Reckless Endangerment and Unlawful Use of a Firearm.

There were no injuries to any of the three adults who were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information regarding the group from which the rock was thrown, to include surveillance footage of the area, is asked to call APD Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or 907-786-8900 (option #0).  To remain anonymous, you may leave a tip online at www.AnchorageCrimeStoppers.com.
