At 2:12 AM on April 24, 2022, Anchorage Police responded to the Gaslight at 721 W 4th Avenue regarding a shooting.  Initial indications are that there was some type of altercation inside the bar when at least one shot was fired.  One adult male was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There have been no arrests; there is no suspect information to release at this time.

The nature of the dispute, or whether those involved knew each another prior to the shooting, is still under investigation.  This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no public safety threat.
