UPDATE 3:10 AM, November 23, 2024

The preliminary investigation indicates that a Subaru sedan was traveling Northbound on Lake Otis Pkwy when it collided at E 68 Ave with a Subaru SUV that was traveling Southbound on Lake Otis Pkwy turning Eastbound on 68 Ave.

Medics arrived and transported the adult female driver and juvenile passenger of the Subaru Sedan to a hospital with non-life-threatening-injuries; medics also transported the adult male driver of the Subaru SUV to the hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.

The scene is being processed by investigators with the Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU).

At 09:45 PM on November 22, 2024, officers along with medics from the Anchorage Fire Department responded to the area of E 68 Ave and Lake Otis Pkwy, in reference to a vehicle collision.

Northbound Lake Otis Pkwy will be closed near E 68 Ave.
