Original on 8/9/23:

At 8:33 PM on August 7, 2023, Anchorage Police responded to a residence on the 3800-block of Arkansas Drive regarding an assault.  Initial indications are that 29-year-old Tyler W. Norman forced his way into the home.  Inside were an adult male and adult female; the three were all known to one another.  During the subsequent altercation, Norman physically assaulted the male and female which included stabbing the male.  Norman then forced the female to leave in his vehicle with him; the female escaped by jumping out of the moving vehicle and running away.  The male victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries which he is expected to survive.

Police were unable to locate Norman.  They obtained a felony arrest warrant for him for the charges of Kidnapping, Assault III, two counts of Fear Assault III, Domestic Violence Assault IV, Criminal Mischief, and Burglary.

Two days later, at 5:28 AM on August 9th, Police Dispatch was advised that Norman had returned to the same residence, forced his way in, and threatened to physically harm the adult male inside (not the same male victim from two days before).  No physical altercation occurred, and Norman left prior to police arriving at the scene.

Tyler Norman is 6’02” tall, 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  Anyone with information regarding his current whereabouts is asked to call Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or 907-786-8900 (option #0).  To remain anonymous, you may leave information online at www.AnchorageCrimeStoppers.com.  Norman is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached.

Norman is wanted on the felony warrant obtained for his actions on August 7th along with a misdemeanor Fail to Appear warrant for an original charge of Criminal Mischief that he already had.  Additional charges are pending for his criminal behavior earlier this morning.
