Charges Forwarded in Dimond High Threats Investigation

On January 8, 2024, two Dimond High School students posted on Snapchat wherein threats to cause harm at the school were made.  Snapchat pulled the posts from their site and notified the FBI who reached out to APD at 3:30 PM.  Officers assigned to the School Resource Unit launched an investigation.  The two students were identified, contacted at private residences, and interviewed.  Charges for both students were forwarded to the Division of Juvenile Justice.
