Death Investigation; 8400-block of Jewel Lake Road

Update on 11/9/22:

The preliminary investigation indicates this death was not criminal in nature.  The investigation is ongoing.

Original on 11/5/22:

At 8:05 AM on November 5, 2022, Anchorage Police and Medics responded to a residence on the 8400-block of Jewel Lake Road regarding a baby not breathing. The child was transported to the hospital where she later passed away. 

The Crime Scene Team has responded to the residence to conduct an investigation.  Ultimately the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
