Cassandra Pitka turned herself in last night and spoke with detectives. The search continues for the adult male witness.

Update 4/12/18:
Thomas Horton turned himself in to detectives last night; he was questioned, arrested and transported to jail. Horton faces a charge of Misconduct Involving a Weapon 3 (felon in possession). He could face additional charges.

Detectives are still wanting to speak with the two witnesses (Cassandra Pitka and the adult male who was placed at the scene).

Update on 4/11/18 @ 3:45PM:
Detectives would like to speak to two more witnesses to last Monday’s homicide; they are asking those two people to call non-emergency Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1).

The first person is 24-year-old Cassandra Pitka. The second is an adult male whom witnesses have placed at the scene but his name is unknown.

Detectives are still looking for Thomas Horton as well (see attached photo).

Detectives have made contact with Oinree Devoe. Police are still seeking Thomas Horton who is a person of interest in this case.

Update:
At 1:00 PM on April 9, 2018, Anchorage Police responded to a residence on the 1100-block of Chugach Way in reference to a deceased individual. Upon arrival officers located 36-year-old Tyshaun Gray deceased inside the home. After processing the scene and interviewing multiple witnesses it has been determined that this is a homicide and an isolated incident.

23-year-old Thomas Horton has been identified as a person of interest in this crime (see attached photo). Detectives would like to speak with Horton regarding his knowledge of Gray’s death. Detectives would also like to speak with 43-year-old Oinree Devoe who is believed to be a witness; Devoe is asked to contact APD.

An adult male was found deceased inside a residence.
