Homicide; 5300-block Taku Drive

Update:
The victim has been identified as Navarrow Andrews (23 years old). Next of kin procedures have been completed.

Detectives are still seeking to speak with more witnesses as well as more residents who may have heard or saw something suspicious at the time of the shooting.

On 4/8/19 around 10:40 p.m., Dispatch received a report of shots fired in the 5300 block of Taku Drive. Officers with the Patrol Division located an adult male shot in the upper body lying near the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Crime Scene Team will be headed to the scene to investigate.

Detectives with the Homicide Unit are looking for witnesses in this investigation.
