Homicide; 700-block Muldoon Road
Update on 5/28/15:
On May 11, 2015, Anchorage Police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Muldoon Road. The victim, 39-year-old David French, was transported to a local hospital at that time. French died from his injuries today, and his death is now being investigated as a homicide.
No one has been charged with this crime and there is no additional information being released. Update on 5/12/15:
Officers and detectives have questioned several people in connection with a shooting that occurred at the 700 block of Muldoon Road shortly after 7 PM last night.
According to witnesses, several men were involved in an on-going dispute which erupted in gunfire at the Rangeview Trailer court last night. Several rounds were fired resulting in a 39-year-old man being sent to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest and thigh. He is listed in critical condition.
With the help of cooperative citizens, police have impounded two vehicles believed to be involved in the assault and have identified a potential suspect. No one is in custody or has been charged.
If there are any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, they are asked to call APD at 786-8900.

Anchorage police are investigating a shooting outside of a trailer residence on the 700 block of Muldoon Road. One gunshot wound victim was located at the scene and has been transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Police received a call just after 7:00 p.m. reporting a disturbance between multiple subjects outside. Multiple shots were fired during the dispute; a few trailers and vehicles were hit in the gunfire. Only one gunshot wound victim has been identified at this time. No suspects have been taken into custody and police are currently on scene investigating. Additional information will be released as it comes available.
