Homicide; Alano Club at 3103 Spenard Road

18-year-old Alex Thanapong Yu was shot and killed at the Alano Club early this morning.  No arrests have been made.

Anchorage police are investigating a fatal shooting at the Alano Club located at 3103 Spenard Road.

Police Dispatch received reports of shots fired at the location around 1:20 a.m. this morning. Police arrived on scene and located a male who appeared to have been shot. Medics declared the male deceased at the scene. Police are in the process of interviewing witnesses and investigating the incident further. Additional details will be released when they come available.
