Homicide; Elmore Road/E Tudor Road

Update:
The victim died on 8/18/19 as a result of his injuries. He’s been identified as Dadir Macow (44 years old). Next of kin procedures have been completed.

The investigation has now been ruled a homicide and the suspect could face additional charges.

Update 8/4/19 10:30 p.m.:
The suspect has been arrested and transported jail.

He's been identified as 25-year-old Gregory Outwater. He faces a charge of Felony Assault.

Original 8/4/19 at 5:19 PM:
On Friday 8/2/19 at around 10:15 PM, Officers with the Patrol Division responded to a grassy area across the street from Brown Jug at the intersection of Tudor Road and Elmore Road in reference to a citizen report of an injured person.

The preliminary investigation found an adult male victim was laying in the grassy area with physical injuries resulting from an assault that had taken place. The cause of the altercation/assault is still under investigation. The victim was originally transported to a local hospital with his condition unknown. Today, Officers have learned that his condition turned life-threatening. Robbery/Assault Detectives have taken over the investigation and have brought in persons of interest for questioning. No arrests have been made at this time.
