Update: Cancel Locate - Tierre Eady Arrested; Suspect in Homicide Investigation; Holiday Station, 4627 Mountain View Dr.

Update 1/17/20 at 6:30 PM:
Officers assigned to the Investigative Support Unit (ISU) received information on a possible location for homicide suspect Tierre Eady.  This afternoon ISU conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Price and Thompson; Eady was a passenger.  He was taken into custody and is being transported to the Anchorage Police Department for questioning by detectives.  Afterwards he will be remanded on his warrant for the charges of Murder I and two counts of Murder II.

Tierre Eady, originally a person of interest, is now officially a suspect in this investigation. Police have obtained a warrant for his arrest on the charges of Murder I and two counts of Murder II.

Eady is 6'00” tall, 210 pounds with short cropped black hair and brown eyes. If you see Eady, call 9-1-1. DO NOT approach him as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Jerry R. Sales. Next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

Police would still like to speak with Tierre Eady.  Anyone with information regarding Eady’s whereabouts is asked to call Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1).

Police are looking for person of interest, 43-year-old Tierre Eady. Detectives believe he may have information regarding the homicide at the Holiday Station on Mountain View Dr. today and would like to speak with him.

On 12/16/19 at around 10:12 a.m., Officers with the Patrol Division responded to the Holiday Station at 4627 Mountain View Dr. in reference to reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, Officers located one adult male victim who suffered life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. After attempting life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The preliminary investigation found that this may have stemmed from some sort of altercation. There have been no arrests at this time, and this is an active investigation.

Mountain View Drive is temporarily shut down between N Pine Street and N Bliss Street and there will be a large police presence in the area as officers investigate. Please seek alternative routes.

Detectives are seeking witnesses who were in the area this morning and may have information. Anyone with information about this investigation, including surveillance video, is asked to call Dispatch at 311.
