HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 3200-block of Eastgate Place

At 11:34 PM on December 30, 2024, APD officers responded to reports of a shooting that occurred in a residence at the 3200-block of Eastgate Place. Upon arrival, Officers located a 17-year-old juvenile female with trauma to the upper body. She was declared deceased at the scene. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation, but Detectives have cause to believe that this is an isolated incident. No arrests have been made at this time.

The Crime Scene Team responded to process the scene.

APD does not release the names of juvenile victims. Next-of-kin notification procedures are complete.
