Large Police Presence: 8600 Block of boundary Ave.

UPDATE on 11/12/24:

During the investigation, 25-year-old Valu Valu III was identified as a suspect. On Nov. 12, 2024, Valu Valu III was apprehended and charged with two counts of Assault III, once count of Assault 4, and Interfere with Report of a DV Crime. Valu Valu III was remanded at the Anchorage Correctional Complex on these charges.

ORIGINAL:

At 4:25 AM on Oct. 27, 2024, Anchorage Police responded to the 8800 block of Boundary Ave regarding a disturbance with a knife. Officers located an adult female victim with injuries to the upper body. The responding officers provided medical care until Anchorage Fire Department (AFD) medics arrived and the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officers attempted to locate the male suspect on scene, and it was determined that he had left prior to arrival and a warrant is pending for his arrest.
