SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 4600 BLOCK THOMPSON AVE

APD CASE: ​25-5065

DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: February 16, 2025 approximately 02:20 AM

NARRATIVE: At ​approximately 02:20 AM on February 16, 2025., patrol officers responded to ​the 4600-block of Thompson Ave​ in reference to ​a shooting. Upon arrival officers located one victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim has been transported to a hospital for treatment of ​life threatening​ injuries.  

 Anyone with information regarding this incident, to include surveillance footage of the area, is asked to contact Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or (907)786-8900 (option #0).  Police are currently following up on leads and there is no suspect information to release at this time. The motive for the incident, and any relationship between the parties involved, is under investigation.
