Shooting Investigation: Circle K at Boniface Pkwy. and Northern Lights Blvd.

At 2:24 AM on September 29, 2024, Anchorage Police Mid-Shift Officers responded to the Circle K on Boniface Pkwy. and Northern Lights Blvd. in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located an adult male with at least one gunshot wound to the lower body. The victim has been transported by medics to a local hospital for treatment of what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.

The suspect has been detained and transported to APD for questioning by detectives. No charges have been filed.

While the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, Detectives have cause to believe this is an isolated incident. There is no current public safety threat related to this incident.
