Traffic Update: Fur Rondy Road Closures Downtown

We know it’s a lot, but here are details about the times and locations of the road closures as you navigate downtown this weekend:

Thursday, February 24th through Sunday, February 27th:
4th Avenue between H Street and Cordova Street, and Cordova Street between 4th Avenue and 16th Avenue, will be closed to parking and traffic for the Sled Dog Races.
The cross streets of A Street and C Street will be open on 4th Avenue.
The cross streets of 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, 9th Avenue, and 15th Avenue will be open on Cordova Street with some traffic control and APD assistance.
Saturday, February 26th - Everything mentioned above AND:
5th Avenue and 6th Avenue, between K Street and Eagle Street, and all side streets in between, will be closed between approximately 6AM and 1PM.
A Street will have limited northbound access, but C Street will be CLOSED at 3rd Avenue during the Frostbite Footrace and the Grand Parade. Once the parade is over around 1PM, C Street will reopen to southbound traffic at 3rd Avenue.
Additionally, there will be a parade staging area on D Street between 9th Avenue and 6th Avenue that will be closed Saturday morning until approximately 1PM.
