Witnesses sought for hit and run collision on W 25th between Spenard and Minnesota
At 2:48 AM on Monday, May 9, 2022, Anchorage Police responded to the 1400-block of W 25th Avenue regarding a vehicle versus bicycle hit and run collision. The male bicyclist was transported to the hospital by AFD medics with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the vehicle that left the scene was a red or maroon 4-door sedan, similar to a Toyota Camry. The vehicle had bright LED headlights and should have front-end damage. Anyone with surveillance footage of the area is asked to call non-emergency Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or 907-786-8900 (option “0”).
