Death Investigation: Russian Jack Park/1600 Lidia Selkregg

Update on 8/29/23:

The two deceased males have been identified as 51-year-old Ralph Morgan and 55-year-old Ronald Vaska.  While police located the two deceased men on the same day, it is believed Ronald Vaska passed away several days prior to Ralph Morgan dying.  The deaths are not believed to be related.

Ronald Vaska had been reported as a missing person to APD on March 6, 2023, under case number 23-7529.  APD did publicize his missing person status.  Vaska passed away from exposure.

Ralph Morgan passed away from an infection due to an untreated wound.

Neither man’s death is being investigated as a criminal incident.

At 3:17 PM on March 09, 2023, Anchorage Police responded to the area of 1600 Lidia Selkregg (Russian Jack Park) regarding two deceased adults. APD’s Crime Scene Team will be responding to process the area.

Ultimately the cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.

 No streets are closed to traffic.
