Fatality Collision Investigation on Kincaid Road

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Dylan Watson.  Next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

At 12:38 AM on June 18, 2024, Anchorage Police responded to a vehicle collision on Kincaid Road between Westpark Drive and Park West Circle.  Initial indications are that a Toyota pickup was travelling eastbound on Kincaid when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound Hyundai SUV.

The adult male driver of the Toyota was declared deceased at the scene.  The Toyota’s passenger, and both occupants of the Hyundai, were all transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation.  No citations have been issued nor have any charges been filed.

The Major Collision Investigations Unit (MCIU) is processing the scene.  Kincaid Road between Westpark Drive and Park West Circle is still shut down while that occurs.  Please use alternate routes.

The deceased’s name will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.
