Next of kin procedures are complete. The victim has been identified as 49-year-old Reid Labeck.

This case is now classified as a homicide investigation.

The preliminary investigation has determined that the adult male victim suffered trauma to the body. The identity of the victim will be released pending next of kin procedures. This investigation is ongoing.

On 9/12/19 around 8:37 PM, Officers with the Patrol Division were dispatched to a wooded camp area south of the intersection of Boston Street and Debarr Road in reference to a citizen report of a deceased person.

One adult male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. While the cause of death is still under investigation, his death is suspicious in nature. APD Homicide Detectives and the Crime Scene Team are responding to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
