Homicide; Puffin Inn parking lot at 4400 Spenard Road

Update 6/19/18:
Officers with the Investigative Support Unit (ISU) located and took Orlando Holder into custody last night in the Mt. View area.

Detectives developed information on the whereabouts of the suspect and gave the information to ISU to find him.

The suspect was questioned by detectives and transported to jail.

Update on 6/15/18:
The victim in last night’s Spenard homicide has been identified as 22-year-old Jaymes I. Bradley.  His next of kin have been notified.

Detectives have developed enough probable cause to charge 32-year-old Orlando G. Holder as the shooter in this crime.  A felony arrest warrant has been obtained for Holder for the charges of Murder II, Manslaughter, and Misconduct Involving a Weapon III.

Holder is a black male with multiple tattoos.  He was last known to have long hair but he may have altered his appearance (please see both attached photos).  Holder is 5’08” tall, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  If you see Holder do not approach as he is considered to be armed and dangerous; call APD Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) with his location.  To remain anonymous you may contact Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP or online at www.anchoragecrimestoppers.com.

No further details are being released regarding the circumstances of this case at this time.

Update:
Officers have cleared the area.

Detectives believe a group of people, who knew each other, met up in the parking lot and became involved in an altercation about an agreement between them.

There is no suspect information to release as this time.

The identity of the victim is not being released pending next of kin notification procedures.

At 9:32 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018, Anchorage Police responded to the parking lot of the Puffin Inn located at 4400 Spenard Road in reference to reports of shots fired.  Upon arrival officers located a deceased male lying in the parking lot.  There have been no arrests at this time.  Police are setting up a perimeter and are working the scene; please avoid the area.
