Jason Isenberg was apprehended by K9 Midas in a felony warrant investigation
On 11/03/2022 at 02:10PM hours members of the APD Investigative Support Unit and APD K9 were in the area of 2300 block of Abbott Road attempting to locate a suspect who had outstanding felony warrants for his arrest. The suspect, 37-year-old Jason Isenberg, was located inside of a business and, when contacted by officers, began to resist and fight with the officers. Ultimately, K9 Midas was used to apprehended Isenberg.
Isenberg was into custody without further incident and was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries from the dog bite. Afterwards he was driven to the Anchorage Police Department for questioning by detectives. At the conclusion of the interview, Isenberg was remanded at Anchorage Jail for his warrants and charges of resisting arrest, MIW, Theft 3, and Theft 2.
None of the officers involved nor K9 Midas were injured during the incident.
