Juvenile Arrested at East High School in Arson Investigation

On December 10, 2021 at 1:30PM an officer assigned  the School Resource Unit (SRO) responded to reports of a fire in the East High School bathroom. The preliminary investigation found that a fire was lit in the sinks of the bathroom. The Anchorage Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. No one was injured.

 Officers located a juvenile who was last seen in the bathroom.  The student’s parents were notified; charges were forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
