Kempton Hills Drive/Wellsford Circle; Vehicle/pedestrian collision with injuries.

At 5:16 PM on May 25, 2022, Officers assigned to Swing-shift patrol and medics with the Anchorage Fire Department responded to Kempton Hills Drive and Wellsford Circle in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision.

The preliminary investigation found that a Ford Expedition was traveling on Wellsford Circle at a slow rate of speed when a juvenile entered the roadway and was struck by the vehicle. The juvenile victim was later taken to the hospital and was determined to have life threatening injuries.

There are no road closures and no charges have been filed at this time.
