Marcus Mewborn Charged in SAM Case – Victims Being Sought

On September 26, 2024, 29-year-old Marcus T. Mewborn was charged with two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree, one count of Unlawful Exploitation of a Minor, and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.  The charges were the result of a months-long investigation conducted by APD’s Crimes Against Children Unit (CACU) regarding an incident reported to police in February 2023.  Detectives are concerned there may be more victims.

Marcus Mewborn worked as a rapper and DJ where he had access to underage girls.
