Witnesses/Victims Being Sought in Vandalism Investigation

The Anchorage Police Department is looking for witnesses in a vandalism case.  The preliminary investigation indicates that large quantities of roofing nails have intentionally been dumped on the Glenn Highway, between the Hiland overpass and the Palmer Alternate, within the last week (June 26 – July 3).  It appears this has happened more than once during that timeframe.

Anyone with information regarding suspicious activity on the Glenn that may be related to this crime is asked to contact Traffic Sergeant Noll at 907-786-8968 or david.noll@anchorageak.gov.  APD is aware of at least six victims with tire damage.  If you believe you have vehicle damage from this incident that you have not yet reported, please contact Sergeant Noll.

Anyone who would like to anonymously report suspect information in relation to this crime may do so online at www.AnchorageCrimeStoppers.com.
