Jon Horsley and Lola Fallon Remanded During Robbery and Assault Investigation
At 11:18 PM on April 29, 2023, Anchorage Police responded to Carrs at 1650 W Northern Lights Boulevard regarding an incident wherein there was a shoplift, and someone tried to run over a Loss Prevention (LP) employee.
Initial indications are that 34-year-old Jon R. Horsley concealed several items on his person before walking out of the store without paying for anything. Three LPs confronted Horsley and identified themselves. They went hands on with Horsley after Horsley still attempted to leave with the items he had stolen. They went to the ground at which time 37-year-old Lola L. Fallon drove up to them in a Ford pickup truck. Fallon exited the truck and demanded the LPs let Horsley go. When the LPs did not do what she said, Fallon stated she was going to run them over. The LPs heard the threat, and then saw Fallon get into the truck’s driver’s seat and drive directly at them. Ultimately Fallon stopped just short of striking the group, but her actions put the LPs in fear of immediate physical harm.
Lola Fallon was remanded at Hiland Mountain Correctional Center on the charge of Assault III. Jon Horsley was remanded at the Anchorage Jail on the charge of Robbery II.
No one was injured by the Ford pickup. Two of the LPs did suffer minor injuries during their struggle to detain Horsley.
