CURRENT STATUS: Initial Report

NARRATIVE:  At 8:26 AM on April 10, 2025, APD officers were dispatched to 5100 Mountain View Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an adult female victim with trauma to the upper body. She was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  
The Crime Scene Team will be responding to process the scene. Please follow officers’ instructions if you are in the area. If you do not need to be in the vicinity, please avoid it and seek alternative routes until further notice.

UPDATED NARRATIVE:

The adult female victim has died as a result of at least one gunshot wound to her upper body.

The investigation is still underway and there is no suspect information to release at this time. No arrests have been made. Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Haily Ibarra. Next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.
