Warrant Locate for Inmate Richard Hunt; Parkview Center Halfway House Escapee

At 1:46 PM on August 24, 2024, Anchorage Police Day Shift Patrol Officers responded to the Alaska Native Medical Center located at 4315 Diplomacy Drive.  It had been reported to APD Dispatch that Richard Hunt was on the premises being uncooperative with security.  Officers arrived and took Hunt into custody.  He was remanded at the Anchorage Correctional Complex on his two outstanding felony warrants (Escape II and a Parole Violation).

A felony warrant for Escape in the Second Degree has been obtained for 36-year-old Richard R. Hunt who walked away from the Parkview Center.  He was serving time for two counts of Assault in the Third Degree.  He also has a felony Parole Violation warrant.
